About the Disc Jockey Association of NZ

The DJ Association is open to all professional Mobile DJs based in New Zealand who meet guidelines in ethics, standards of appearance, professionalism and good business practice. On this website is a service index of members with links to their websites and their contact details.

Music, dancing and interaction helps bring almost any celebration to life. Hiring a professional DJ can turn an ordinary gathering into an exciting event. Whether your event is a wedding, corporate event, birthday celebration, school ball or any other event, hiring a DJANZ Professional DJ will make your event spectacular.

The best thing about hiring a professional DJ entertainer is that you don't have to do the work yourself! By selecting the right DJ, you'll have a terrific event that will be exactly the way you want it to be. From setting up the right professional equipment, to supplying and controlling lighting, selecting the right music at the right time, and helping coordinate and energise your event, a professional DJ is a multi-talented entertainer.

The easiest way to find the right DJ for your event is to search our database by clicking on "DJANZ Members".

The current President of the DJANZ is Wellington-based MC & DJ Richard Mills. Richard is a founding member of the DJANZ and has been a professional mobile DJ since 1987. Over the last ten years he has specialised in high-quality wedding entertainment, and has trained as a Master of Ceremonies (MC) in America with Marbecca.
